Copyright / DMCA Policy
Last Updated: September 30, 2026
Stay Legacy Minded LLC ("SLM") respects intellectual property rights and expects users of the SLM website, mobile application, community, and related services (collectively, the "Platform") to do the same. This policy explains how copyright owners may submit notices of claimed infringement and how affected users may submit counter-notifications under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA").
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe material available on the Platform infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, send a written DMCA notice to SLM's designated copyright agent. The notice should include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by one notice, a representative list of those works.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, together with information reasonably sufficient for SLM to locate it, such as the relevant profile, post, comment, image, URL, or other location.
- Information reasonably sufficient for SLM to contact you, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, the owner's agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
2. Where to Send a DMCA Notice
Designated Copyright Agent:
Copyright Agent - Stay Legacy Minded LLC
Email: support@staylegacyminded.com
3. What SLM May Do After Receiving a Notice
SLM may remove or disable access to material that is alleged to infringe copyright and may notify the user who posted the material. SLM may request additional information when a notice is incomplete or does not provide enough information to locate or evaluate the material.
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe material you posted was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notification to the designated copyright agent. A counter-notification should include:
- Your physical or electronic
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal or disabling.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States Federal District Court as provided by the DMCA and agreeing to accept service of process from the person who submitted the original infringement notice or that person's agent.
After receiving a valid counter-notification, SLM may forward it to the person who submitted the original notice. Unless that person informs SLM that a court action has been filed seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, SLM may restore the material in accordance with the timing and procedures provided by the DMCA.
5. Repeat Infringers
SLM may, in appropriate circumstances and in its discretion, suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights or other intellectual property rights.
6. Misrepresentations
Knowingly making material misrepresentations in a DMCA notice or counter-notification may result in legal liability. If you are unsure whether material infringes your copyright, you may wish to consult an attorney before submitting a notice.
7. Other Intellectual Property Concerns
For trademark or other intellectual property concerns that are not covered by the DMCA, contact support@staylegacyminded.com and clearly describe the issue and the material involved.
