TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Stay Legacy Minded platform, including our mobile applications, website, content, courses, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • By using the Platform, you represent that you have full legal capacity to enter into this agreement

2. Account Registration & Security

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must provide accurate and truthful information
  • You agree not to share or transfer your account

3. Nature of Service (IMPORTANT)

SLM is a technology platform that facilitates:

  • Introductions between users
  • Educational content and courses

We do NOT:

  • Conduct background checks (unless explicitly stated)
  • Guarantee compatibility, behavior, or outcomes

 4. User Conduct (Strict Enforcement)

You agree NOT to:

  • Harass, threaten, or harm others
  • Engage in fraud, scams, or solicitation
  • Upload explicit, illegal, or misleading content
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Attempt to bypass platform safeguards

We may remove content and terminate accounts at our sole discretion, without notice.

5. User Interactions & Assumption of Risk

You understand and agree:

  • You interact with other users at your own risk
  • SLM is NOT responsible for user behavior
  • Offline interactions are entirely your responsibility

6. Verification Disclaimer

Any verification features are for convenience only.

SLM does NOT guarantee identity, intent, or safety of any user.

7. Payments, Subscriptions & Billing

  • Payments are processed via third parties (Stripe, Kajabi, app stores)
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before billing cycle
  • You authorize recurring charges when subscribing
  • Prices may change with notice

8. No Refund Policy (Strict)

  • All digital products and courses are non-refundable unless explicitly stated
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable once charged

9. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, systems, and materials are owned by SLM.

You may not copy, distribute, or exploit any part without written permission.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account:

  • For violations
  • For safety concerns
  • At our discretion

11. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". We make NO guarantees regarding:

  • Matches or relationships
  • Financial or personal outcomes
  • Platform availability or performance

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (CRITICAL)

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • SLM is NOT liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • SLM is NOT liable for user conduct or interactions
  • Our total liability shall NOT exceed the amount you paid in the last 3 months

13. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SLM from any claims arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your interactions with other users
  • Your violation of these Terms

14. ARBITRATION AGREEMENT (VERY IMPORTANT)

You agree that:

  • All disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration
  • You waive your right to a jury trial
  • You waive participation in class-action lawsuits

Arbitration will be conducted in California under AAA rules.

15. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
